Welcome to Masugnsbyn, a quiet village about an hour from Kiruna Airport.The Lapland Snow Cabin was built in 1929. It now serves as a holiday home, close to nature and wildlife but with modern amenities such as an equipped kitchen, dining area for 6 plus a high chair for toddlers, wifi, TV, and a WC with shower. The upstairs sleeps 5 people in one huge bedroom (one king bed and 3 singles). There is a sofabed in the living room downstairs and there is also a crib for infants.
Our new additions are the Snow Moose and Snow Fox, 15 sq meters cabins in the same yard. Snow Moose has a bunk bed and a sofa bed, so up to 4 people can stay. Dogs are allowed in this cabin. The Snow Fox has a queen bed. They have electrical heating but also a firewood burner. The WC/shower/kitchenette are in a small service building 5 meters from the cabins (you walk outside to reach it). Please e-mail us for pictures of the Moose and Fox until we have them on the website.
Free parking in the yard and an outdoor fireplace by the woodfired sauna. 20 minutes by car to a supermarket. Bus stop near the cabin. Airport and supermarket transfers available if you travel by bus.
